EVAR (Endovascular Treatment)

Endovascular treatment (EVAR) is a modern surgical method performed through the blood vessels to repair vascular aneurysms. Especially aortic aneurysms hold significant importance among cardiovascular diseases and can pose serious life-threatening risks if not treated early. Unlike traditional open surgery, EVAR offers a minimally invasive approach that facilitates the treatment process for patients.

During this procedure, a stent graft is placed inside the vessel. The stent graft reinforces the aneurysm area, directs blood flow, and prevents the aneurysm from enlarging. EVAR is typically performed through small incisions in the groin, resulting in a much shorter recovery time. Patients can return to their normal activities more quickly compared to traditional surgeries.

Op. Dr. Murat Ertürk has extensive experience in EVAR and creates personalized treatment plans for each patient to achieve the best outcomes. Using innovative techniques and achieving high success rates, he provides a safe and effective treatment process. This treatment is especially beneficial for elderly and high-risk patients, as it carries a significantly lower risk of complications compared to open surgery.
